workshop information + policies

COVID Safety
No current regulations. Masks optional.

Group Class Registration
You can register for all group classes online with a card here, or email your name and street address to receive a SEPA invoice. If you have a gift voucher for a group class, please email and include the voucher/ order number and which section you would like to join.

Private Class Registration
Private workshop availability is very limited, and it is best to email to confirm scheduling before purchasing if you are on a tight schedule. If you have a gift voucher for a private class, just send an email with the voucher/ order number and 2 proposed days/ times and we will get you in the calendar.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased for spaces in group or private classes here. They are valid for 2 years and have no cash value, however, they can be exchanged for a different workshop or physical products based on the original purchase price.

Cancellation
If cancellation is more than 7 days before the workshop begins, you can receive a full refund or be rescheduled into another section. If the cancellation is less than 7 days before the class, a refund is only possible if your spot can be filled, otherwise you will receive a credit for a future class. Same day cancellation or no show will result in forfeiture of the class. Missed group workshops can only be rescheduled into future sessions when space is available and cannot be taken as private studio time outside of these classes. Please reach out with any questions.

General Safety
Depending on the specific class, we work with torches exceeding 2300*C, motors spinning at 5000RPM, clay, dirt, and dust. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie to pull it back. No open toed shoes or flowy materials. Angora sweaters are generally not recommended. If you would prefer to wear an apron, please bring your own. If you need glasses for reading, you probably also need them for making jewelry. If your child care falls thru, please reach out to reschedule and do not bring the wee ones to the atelier. We love children, but a metals studio is not the happiest place for the babes.
